Can We Fix Our Realationship with Our Parents

Client: Mr Porter

This assignment was about acceptance and boundaries in the relationship with our parents, not about trying to change them

We see the male protagonist sitting at one end of the seesaw, at the other end we see his parents higher up. I wanted to convey the relationship between parents and children and the weight that children often make parents carry, always wanting to see their perspective.

In the final artwork, I have highlighted the figure of the parents with a high perspective over the figure of the child. I have used a chromatic range where the sunset creates a special atmosphere in the image.
